Ok, enough chit chat. What’s today’s question?
What Should I Let Go of This Week?
Let go of one thing.
Just one.
The mistake we make is trying to “let go” of everything at once — stress, anger, guilt, worry, disappointment, regret, resentment, the lingering irritation about that guy who talked during your backswing, and everything else that clutters our mental attic.
But it doesn’t work that way.
Letting go is a slow leak, not a drain plug.
One thing at a time.
Let go of something useless:
A grudge.
A worry.
A pointless obligation.
A conversation replaying in your head.
A fear that no longer fits who you are now.
When you’re retired — and especially when you’re a survivor — you realize that mental clutter is heavier than physical clutter. You can’t carry every experience you’ve had. You’ll collapse under the weight.
Pick something small.
Release it quietly.
Walk lighter this week.
You deserve to walk into Monday with room to breathe.
