OMG! This is exactly my life right now! You put words to how I feel ever day. I'm not retired per se, but my kids all got married and I feel like I'm retired. It’s funny how busy you are when you retire and the all famous words from family “oh you are retired you have time” like your retirement opened the door for them to fill the space.

To me it’s boils down to a simple question I ask myself - what deserves my attention?
Even in my least structured time that question usually helps me make the busy at least feel productive.
I feel this too! "Where did this day go?" is a question I'm asking myself most nights.

I agree on time filling with small things, but when we have one intentional item, we feel we have purpose which is essential.
