Great story. My past husband was an avid fly fisherman. My son also has a love for fly fishing. You could come east and try some of the waters around Brevard, NC. They fish year round there.
I too grew up in S. Florida and we went to camp in Brevard. My sister and I went to Camp Burgess Glen. My brother went to Camp Greenville. It is now a co-ed Camp.

When I was a kid growing up in South FL, my parents took me to Camp Carolina near there. Great memories and great area!
